Dean Allan Barr, 72, of Kansas City, MO passed away January 17, 2021. Dean was born June 4, 1948, in Quincy, IL to Thomas and Wilma Barr.
Dean is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mary Jane. Stepchildren, Mary Beth Foster (Lee), Hugh Faulds (Renea), Heather Hamilton (Don). Five step-grandchildren; Tyler Faulds, Alexcis Gibler (Jordan), Sierra Feight (Dakota), Joseph Hamilton, Alec Faulds. Three step-great-grandchildren. Tobias and Mosely Gibler, Rhett Faulds. Sister, Karma Brinkley (Kirt) and Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Wilma Barr, sister, Keela Harris and adopted daughter, Christy Barr.
A graduate of LaGrange High School, LaGrange, MO and Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City, MO. Dean spent 45 years serving the community of Kansas City as a very successful Doctor of Chiropractic care; Ruskin Chiropractic Center.
Outside of using his hands for healing, he used his hands for creation and building. He designed and built his dream home, an A-frame log cabin at Lake of the Ozarks.
The memorial service will be held at Unity Village – Silent/Atrium Chapel, Saturday January 23, 2021 from 1-3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wayside Waifs of Kansas City, MO in the name of Dean A. Barr.
