Deborah Burnett, 64, died on July 5th, 2017 with her family by her side in Independence, MO. Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 11th, at 10am at Woodlawn Cemetery In Independence, MO. Deborah was born July 23, 1952 in Independence, MO to Freeman and Enola Burroughs.
Deborah, a devoted wife and mother, had a love for life and family. Especially her two children she raised with her husband Tom of more than 40 years. She enjoyed making holidays and special occasions memorable for those close to her. An avid reader, she enjoyed a good book and loved going to the movies with her children. Deborah had a kind soul and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Thomas Burnett, her 2 children Chris Burnett and Ashley Burnett. Her sister Pam Thorman, Brother Lee Burroughs and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father Freeman Burroughs, her mother Enola Burroughs and Brother Michael Burroughs

I was so sorry to hear of Debbie’s transition. She was so great at helping with scouts and watching Sean for Dennis. Juanita and Jerry cared for her a lot.I enjoyed visiting May God enfold you in his love and healing light.
