DEBRA JEANNE (GREEN) BEARS

Debra Jeanne (Green) Bears, 56, of Independence, MO, passed away Dec. 27, 2012. She was a loving, caring, giving, stylish, free spirited old soul, with an eye for the unusually unique, who lived by the Golden Rule and never met a stranger. Her motto was “Live life by letting go with both hands.” She was preceded in death by her father, Lester P. Green. She is survived by those who adored her: husband, David P. Bears, mother, Patricia M. Green, siblings; Karen, Jennifer, Rex and Holly, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and “The Hens” whom she loved. In lieu of flowers she requested donations to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Parkway, Ste 300, Kansas City, MO 64114 and/or Rime Buddhist Center, 700 W Pennway St, Kansas City, MO 64108.
