Deena M. Beebe

Deena M. Beebe 60-born on 3-12-1963 passed away peacefully on 6-26-2023 surrounded by several loved ones in Independence, MO.

She was preceded in death by: Donald Ray Beebe Jr. (stepson), Robert Washam (biological father), Roberta Battista (Steffens) (sister), Adam Steffens (brother), Joseph Dyer (grandson), Swayne & Louise Washam (grandparents), Amsal Steffens & Wanda Clark (grandparents), and Robert & Bonnie Croxen (grandparents).

She is survived by her 11 children: Amy Cantwell (daughter), Dana Cantwell (daughter), Kimberly Thorpe (daughter), Angela Dyer (daughter), Shana McClure-Beebe (daughter) (Russ), Vikki Smith (daughter) (Ben), Michael Steffens (son), Derek Steffens (son) (Stevie), Jesse Beebe (son), and Alix Johnson (son); 46 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and her parents John & Yvonne Steffens.

Deena was born in St. Helena, California and moved to Missouri when she was in elementary school. She was very accomplished in the Greater Kansas City Pathfinders Club through her church (Oak Grove Seventh Day Adventist). She enjoyed music which led her to learning to play the accordion. After high school she went to college at Hamilton Business College and got an Associates Degree in Business that she used as a Tax Consultant. She met and later married Donald Beebe on 4-5-1993. They enjoyed traveling the U.S. in a semitruck and lived in several different states including their hometown of Independence, MO. She loved spending time with family, friends and especially her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother and was always willing to help anyone if she could.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Oak Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church 906 Broadway Street Oak Gove, MO 64075. There will be a private viewing for immediate family at 9:00AM. The visitation will be 10:00AM to 11:00AM. The funeral will follow at 11:00AM and then we will head to the graveside at Mount Washington Cemetery 614 South Brookside Ave. Independence, MO 64053. Graveside services start at 12:45PM.
