Delbert Dean Bartel passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010, at his home. Mr. Bartel was born 11/27/1928 in Durham, KS. He was preceded in death by his first wife Beverly Taylor Bartel, parents David and Anna Bartel, brother Elmer Bartel and sister Georgia Bartel. Dean is survived by his wife Juanita Mayer Bartel; daughters Deena (Gary) Bartel-Wagner, Bonnie (Dean) Purkeypile, Karla (Rob) Cole; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister: Audrey Bartel. A visitation is planned for Sunday, April 18, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8714 Antioch, in Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency), Maranatha Volunteers International: One Day Church.
