Dennis Roy Wagner, age 71, peacefully passed away on January 23, 2018.
He was born on July 26, 1946 in Loudon, TN. He attended Lenoir City High School in Lenoir City, TN. He worked for John Morrell Packing Company in Memphis TN. He worked for Baker Packing Company in Mexico, MO before moving to Columbia, Mo where he worked for Diggs Packing Company. He moved to Dallas, TX and retired while working for Tom Thumb Grocery as a meat cutter in the meat department. In 2009, he moved back to Columbia.
Dennis loved the outdoors, especially fishing, had a tremendous love for animals and watching Mizzou Tiger Sports.
He is survived by his son Todd Wagner of Dallas, TX. Also survived by a brother, Larry Wagner (June) of Mexico, MO; nieces and nephews of Leawood, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kyle and Blanche (Williams) Wagner.
Arrangements will be made at a later time for a private family memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice Compassus of Columbia.
