Denton “Denny” William Dean, 57, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away June 18, 2014 at Veterans Administration Medical Center of Kansas City from Liver Cancer. Memorial services will be held 4:00pm, Monday, June 23, 2014 at Vineyard Church in Kansas City, Missouri, where Denny was a member. Visitation will be held from 3-4pm before the memorial service.
Denny was born September 14, 1956 in Paterson City, New Jersey. He served in the Navy from 1976-1979, last at Port Mugu, as an aviation structural mechanic. He has since worked as an airline mechanic for TWA, American Airlines, among other small companies, and as a line mechanic for Harley Davidson. He enjoyed action movies, music, Superman, fishing, showing his German Shepard, Hawk, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Jones Dean. He is survived by his wife, Debby; his father, Alan; children, Sean, Jessica, Dustin & wife Jessica, Katy & husband Andrew, and Dan; grandchildren Brooke, Drake, Emma, and Violet; his siblings John & wife Jennifer, Gloria & husband Phil, Gilbert, and Darren & wife Angie, as well as a large extended family.
