Detriana O. Fann

Detriana Fann, 86, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on March 7, 2021 after her brave battle with Alzheimer’s. The visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. on March 10, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Fann was born on February 23, 1935 in Slater, Missouri to Leonard and Fannie Mae Walker. Dell became an insurance clerk for CNA and retired in 1997. She enjoyed camping, boating, dancing and listening to music. Her favorite artist was Elvis and she was thrilled to visit Graceland. Dell and Clifford enjoyed playing cards and games with friends. Dell and her husband, Clifford, enjoyed participating in fundraising and activities at Ararat Shrine Temple. She was also a Campfire Leader in her younger days. Dell was a caregiver to her family and many friends. Her most treasured moments were spent with her daughters and grandchildren. Dell had 5 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Fann, her sisters, Mary Farnham  and Ann Magruder, brothers, James Walker and Robert Walker.

Dell is survived by her daughters, Drusilla and her husband Bob Wilson, Paula Brooks and her companion Tom Black, and Traci Fann, grandchildren, Melissa Romero, Heather Griffitts, Holly Griffitts, Cassie Webster, Sam Wilson and Hope Stall.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association. 3846 W 75th St #4126, Prairie Village, KS 66208.

She will be greatly missed.

    On behalf of the Zink family we are so sorry to hear of the passing of Dell. Our loss is Heaven’s gain and our condolences go out to Dru, Paula, and Traci during this difficult time. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
