Diane Kufner, 82, passed away on April 6, 2025, in Buckner, Missouri. Born on January 6, 1943, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Diane lived a life rooted in faith, family and love.
Throughout her life, Diane was known for her unwavering devotion to God and her deep spirituality. Her commitment to her faith was evident in the way she lived each day—with compassion and a belief in the power of prayer. She loved going to church throughout her life and found great comfort in reading her family Bible daily. Diane cherished her family deeply.
She is survived by one sister, her daughter-in-law Linda Walker; grandchildren Guy Walker, Tiffiny Walker, and Walter Walker; great-grandchildren Lucas Walker, Paige Walker, Laiklyn Allred, and Lane Walker; as well as nieces and nephews.
Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched with kindness and faith. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations instead be made in Diane’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at a later date.
Aunt Diane so glad i got to spend all those fridays with you. That last Friday you were out running me in the store and laughing. I loved that i could call you any time, even at night and you answered. You were my other mother. Growing up you were always there for me! I will always miss you . I love you. Give mom a hug for me. For i know you two are together again
