Donald Barber

Donald L. Barber died on January 30, 2005, at Menorah Medical Center, surrounded by his children. His wife of 50 years, Martha, predeceased him in 2002. Don was a civil engineer and a partner in Campbell, Barber & Lambeth Consulting Engineers for over 40 years. He was involved with numerous organizations including serving as city engineer of Merriam, KS, for over 30 years. He leaves many friends and business associates who all remember his kind and gentle manner. He will be greatly missed by his surviving children, David and Donna; his daughter-in-law, Linde; his son-in-law, Chris; and his four grandchildren, David Barber, Jr., Jessica Barber, Christian Colton and Alexander Colton. He was further survived by his older brother, Clifford Barber, of Pasadena, TX. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
