Donald R. Briscoe, 72, died March 18, 2005, at Kansas City Veterans Hospital. He was born in Lincoln, KS, to William Harvie Briscoe and Elizabeth Musser. He served in the Korean War. As a civilian he worked as a laborer. He leaves behind four brothers, Harold, Wendell, Dennis, and Stephen Briscoe; two sisters, Wilma Major and Joan Slaughter; many nieces and nephews and his good friend, Martha Lowry. Burial will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 25, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. (Arr; Heartland Cremation & Burial Society 816-313-1677).
