    Curttright,
My truck buddy, what can I say? I’ll miss you and being able to spike your geritol, (or so you told everybody I did)! Those many hours shared in that truck on AT and the memories made will be some of my most cherished of you. My sympathy is extended to your family and those that loved you! Needless to say there will never be another one of you. Til Valhalla, my brother!

It has been over a year and I still get emotional when I talk about my 7 yr journey being his caregiver that was an EPIC life changing chapter of my life. I will never forget Halloween 2013 when I was the hot nurse in stilettos pushing him in his wheelchair 4 wheelin over curbs and him saying OOO HELL WHERE’S MY SEATBELT. He was dressed in his Army fatigues and I had a plastic zip lock made to look like an IV bag with beer in it hanging on the arm of the wheelchair by a plant hanger….we had to wait in line around the block from Arvest Bank Theatre downtown KC where we went to a concert. We made so many good memories for 4 yrs…..then in Madison WI for 3 yrs in a hotel suite was not real fun cause we couldn’t drink together anymore…..we still tried to make each other laugh through the intense waiting game and many ER visits thinking that he wasn’t gonna get his transplant day….BUT HE FINALLY did 16 mos later and it was a very unpaved road full of complication after compilation and we were in 4 wheel drive mode for real (without the costumes this time) the whole time right up to that fateful day in August 2020 being admitted for the last time. I got to hear some videos of us in the hotel and of the 8 hour trip to Madison and of course I laughed. He was there for me for many years and I was beside myself to get to be there for him up to his last days. I know he is ecstatic to be reunited with his Mom and Dad again. Until I see him again in HEAVEN I shed happy tears knowing he is in the presence of our coming Saviour/Messiah Jesus Christ/ Yeshua Hamashiach.
