Donald Ivan Dunlap, 92, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on January 20, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Winston Cemetery in Winston, Missouri.
Mr. Dunlap was born on January 14, 1929 to Alfred Alfonzo and Anola Mae (Nevitt) Dunlap. He was a Police Officer for the Kansas City Police Dept. for 30 years, and President of the Missouri Polygraph Association for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 70 years and served many years as a Deacon at the Antioch Baptist Church.
Things he enjoyed throughout his life were fishing, bowling, camping, and music. The most important thing to him was his family. He loved his family very much. Donald was a loving, caring, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved and cherished by his family and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Dunlap; daughter, Cindy Humphrey; parents, Alfred and Anola Dunlap; and brother, John Dunlap.
Survivors include his children, Donald S. and Barbara Dunlap, Daniel I. and Mary Dunlap, Helen K. and Greg Cushing; and son-in-law, Herb Humphrey; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Mr. Dunlap was a sweet man and he will be missed. The family has been blessed with possessing many of the same great qualities that Mr. Dunlap had. He will live in the hearts of many. Sorry for your loss.
