Donald “Donnie” Joseph McGan. 54, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away November 20, 2019. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO.
Donald was born on December 18, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri. Donnie was a classic car enthusiast and a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan. We will forever miss his signature phrase, “Kansasf***ingcity” after each Chiefs win. Donnie lived in Sanford, FL for twenty five years. He was an electrician for most of his life. Donald was a news junkie and loved to read about history. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed deep sea fishing. Donnie was always funny and witty. Rest easy brother, you were taken from us too soon.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Richard and Patricia; and brothers, Patrick and Michael.
Survivors include: son, Matthew Carter; sisters, Gail Oaks, Diana (Steve) Sproul, Sandra (Michael) Sloan; brothers, Phillip, Ronnie, Jeffrey (Linda); ten nieces; and six nephews.
Ted and I are so very sorry for the loss of Donny. Please know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Donnie was my first love from junior high. Although we drifted apart I’ve always cherished my memories of him. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
