Donald D. Majerus, 61, Kansas City, Mo., passed away May 14, 2006. A visitation will be held 6-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1104 NE Vivion Rd, KCMO. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs, PO Box 9791, KCMO 64134. Donald was born June 26, 1944. He was a Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura Majerus, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Schley, Hudson, Iowa; grandchildren, Conor, Whitney, Harley and Davison; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Donna Majerus, Jefferson, Wis., Lonnie and Barbara Majerus, Newton, Iowa, Jimmie and Barb Majerus, Des Moines, Iowa; sisters, Lucille Leeper, Schyler, Neb. and Deborah Majerus, Des Moines; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Walter Winchell, Griswold, Iowa; and a faithful friend, Coale.
