Donald Ray Bloodgood

Donald Ray Bloodgood, 63, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on September 18, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Bloodgood was born on January 18, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas.

Donald joined the Navy in August of 1975. He enjoyed going to the casinos in his spare time and watching KU basketball, Chiefs football, and Royals baseball. He also loved to fish and travel with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lucille Bloodgood and sister Barbara Briscoe.

Survivors include wife Jannie Bloodgood of the home, children; Christina (Jesse) Longenecker, Malissa Smith, Nicole (Megan Taylor) Bloodgood, and Courtney (Jake) Williams, step children; Robert (Ismeralda) Buck and Lynette Buck, grandchildren; Dalton and Issac Longenecker, Zander and Kinsley Smith, and Lily and Elijah Scales, step grandchildren; Elizabeth Hernandez, Alex Kniser, Kayla Buck, Rachel Buck, and Brett Buck, great grandchildren; Melina, Aiden and Anyiah, siblings; Ronnie (Paula) Bloodgood, Bill (Anita) Bloodgood, Debbie (Rusty) Henson, and Donna Pennock and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
