Donna M. Nelson

DONNA M. NELSON of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on December 9, 2017. The family plans a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 7th from noon – 2pm at the Lake Tapawingo Club House, 244 Dockside Lane, Lake Tapawingo, MO right off Woods Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Breast Cancer Research at www.youcaring.com/breastcancerresearchfoudation-1041247

Donna was born October 29, 1934. She was the daughter Stanton and Gertrude Schroll of Syracuse, Kansas. Donna attended Bethany Medical School in Kansas City and worked as a nurse for over 40 years. Donna married Ramon C. Nelson in 1954, they lived in Kansas City, Kansas and had 5 children. She is preceded in death by Ramon and her middle son Charles K. Nelson. Donna is survived by her children Fredrick Nelson of LA, Ramona Nelson of KCK, Susan Paris of Lake Tapawingo MO and Mary Nelson of KCMO. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Donna loved to sew and crochet and will be missed by all.
