Doris Fay Chastain, 92, of Merriam, Kansas passed away June 29, 2017 at Trinity Nursing and Rehab, from pneumonia. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, Missouri. Mrs. Chastain was born March 10, 1925 in Cleburne, Texas.
Doris was a volunteer at Independence Regional Hospital and the Nelson Atkins Art Gallery.
She was preceded in death by her husband Judson C. Chastain.
Survivors include sons Michael Chastain of Georgetown, Texas and Clay Chastain of Bedford, Virginia, daughter Karen Chastain of Kansas City, Missouri, sister Juanita Levy of Lexington, Tex as, granddaughters; Lene Adamson, Hayley Chastain, Clair Chastain, and great granddaughter Ayla Adamson.
