Dorothy Paxton

Dorothy E. Paxton, 95 of Overland Park, KS passed away Saturday May 1, 2010.  She was born September 17, 1914 in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Roy and Anna Walker. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Roy John Mulick, a brother Roy C. Walker, Jr.  and her husband Howard E. Paxton.  She is survived by daughters, Mariana Korn of the home and Doris (Terry) Petitt of Chickasha, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Vickie (Larry) Farr, Larry (Sherry) Davidson, Phillip (Vikki) Davidson, Theresa (Terry) Garner, Traci Hubbell, Bryce (Jessica) Petitt; 11 great-grandchildren and 3 special great-great-granchildren. 

A visitation is planned for Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11:00 at Blue Valley Baptist Church in Overland Park, Kansas.  Dorothy will be laid to rest with her late husband Howard at Ft. Leavenworth Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas following the visitation.  The graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Valley Baptist Church building fund.
