Dorothy Winkelman, 93 passed from this life on Oct. 25, 2008 at TMC Lakewood Care Center. She was preceded in death by husband, John Winkelman, and is survived by 3 children, Linda DeCota of Independence, Debra Walker-Carpenti of San Francisco, and Tim Winkelman of San Diego. She leaves 5 grandsons, and 5 great-grandchildren. Cremation is planned with a memorial gathering to scatter ashes on the sea near the family home in San Diego.
