Douglas Dale Farris, Jr., 65, of Independence, MO passed away August 15, 2015 at Rosewood Health Center after a long-time illness.
Mr. Farris was born June 2, 1950 in Kansas City, MO. He worked as a driver and mechanic, and was a life-long resident of the Kansas City and Independence, MO area.
Doug was preceded in death by his mother Betty R. (Farris) Hoedl and his father, Jerry Farris.
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Couhig; sons, Douglas D. Farris, William E. Farris and Robert J. Farris; daughter, Melissa Farris; and sisters, Susan Guthrie, Alison Porter and Sharon Farris.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
