Dr. Donald Gipe, 68, Kansas City, Mo, passed away Sept. 18, 2013.  A private military graveside will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, in Colorado.

    To Don’s family,
    I first worked with Don many years ago. We became instant and lifetime friends. I just didn’t think our association would end so suddenly. Don was eccentric but he also had a very kind soul. I wish to let you know he will be missed.
    I would be honored to be of assistance if needed.

    I don’t know what to say but I wish I would have gotten to know you better. My son talked about you a lot and I thank you for spending time with him. We all miss you Uncle Don.
