Chico! How can this be? Why you? One of the most genuine people that I have ever met in my life. The one to call me “lil Sis”. To this day, sis is my name.

My heart is broken and wondering why such a good person would be taken so young and with much life to provide. My thoughts and prayers are with Donna and family. You now have a forever protector as a guardian angel.

Such a sad occasion for Sister Mota, and the rest of the family. We know that our God, Jehovah, has Chico in his memory. That’s the best comfort we can have. We are so glad that Chico got to know Jehovah and put faith in him. We look forward to seeing Chico in the promised New World under God’s Kingdom.

Chico, you was the first person(boy) I met when I moved back to kansas city and i moved by your dads i believe, way back when we were kids (summer circa 1983). We got into way too much trouble! who would of known that we would end up at the same middle and high school even though I lived in East district( yep I lied to go to Northeast) . then to lose touch after graduation with me thinking you had passed away years ago. When Lisa Mason saw you under people we might know, was such a Wonderful surprise! and when when told you the story of it, You laughed and said “ nope i’m very much alive”
I WAS SO VERY HAPPY TO LEARN THAT YOU HAD HAVE A GLORIOUS LIFE AND CHILDREN!
while we will never know why the LORD called you home way too soon but know that you will be missed and I sure do wish we could of met up in person to catch up!
May your soul shine down on your beautiful huge family and watch over them during these trying times !! I will love you always Chico for always being the best of friends to me when I really needed it , oh so many years ago and for your kind words when we reunited that made it seem that no time had passed! Bless you all and Prayers to the Chacon Family

Chico, you were one of my first true friends when I first moved back to Missouri. On my first day at the Junior High you introduced yourself and became such a dear friend. I regret that we lost touch after high school until I found you on Facebook last year. I wish COVID hadn’t been going on & we could have all gotten together to get reacquainted, but sadly that never happened. I’m so sorry for not only your families loss, but for those of us who we’re blessed to have known you & had you as a friend. I love you my dear sweet friend ? Fly high with the angels. Until we meet again. Your freckled friend, Lisa

You were a beloved Father, Husband, Son and Brother. You were a very stubborn and proud man that definitely couldn’t keep an opinion to himself but still fun to be around. Thanks for all your words of wisdom. Its still hard to believe we will never see or speak to you again. We will miss you with all our hearts. We hope to see you in the afterlife or another life.

Love Always Edmundo, Cielo, Kristoffer, Kristian, Katrina, Javier, Kimori and Kenji

I send my deepest sympathy to sister Mota and the Chacon family. Death is something that God himself called an enemy ( 1 Corinthians 15:26). . But during times like this , He also becomes a God of comfort ( 2 Corinthians 1: 3,4 ). Chico is in Gods memory and he will see his family again.

  27. Antoinette Smith on March 28, 2021 at 11:22 am

To the Chacon family and Sister Moto
It’s so hard to understand death and why we go through it, but to know that our heavenly father has a better future and plan in store for mankind that death will be a thing of the past. I offer my condolences and prayers to you as you go through this grief. May Jehovah be with you.

Sending my condolences to the Chacon family at this devastating time. I first met Chico when we we young, our families went to the Kingdom Hall together, he was good friends with my cousin and brothers. Our paths would cross again later in life when I worked at Apple Market with Donna. In life we grow older and sometimes fall out of touch with friends from the past. But we never forget the people that were good to us, the kind people, the people that you made some of the best memories with. I was always remember Chico as kind, loving and very friendly. His smile was contagious, so big and happy. Donna, I pray you find strength to get through this, I know this can not be easy and I’m so sorry for your loss. The memory of you and Chico and your family will be forever in my heart.
