Edwin VanDuyne

Edwin VanDuyne, 86, of Raytown, MO passed away October 25, 2017.  Edwin was born November 12, 1930 in Rockville, NY.  He was a member of the US Navy and served his country for 8 years.  Edwin opened and operated a tool machine shop called Alloy Tool and Die.  He attended the Episcopal Church.  In his retirement, Edwin was the director of exercise at Shepherd’s Center and will be remembered for his love of making controlled submarines and a sailboat.  Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Madlyn VanDuyne.  Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Billie, of the home; his brother, Robert VanDuyne, of Grand Blanc, MI; his sister, Jean Rieder, of Gardner, KS; and many nieces and nephews.  Private family services have been planned.
