Elcie Jean Custer, 57, found her peace December 29, 2004. Cremation. A Memorial service will be held 4 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2005, at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Tessman Animal Shelter, PO Box 352, St. Ansgar, IA 50472. Elcie is survived by her daughters, Ingrid E. McDonald and her husband, Mat, Liberty, MO, and Trista J. Backus, Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Sam, Hanna, Emily, and Olivia Jean McDonald.
