Betty, as I knew her, lived across the street from me for several years, in Lexington, Missouri. I was 7 years her senior and when the Days moved in, she was like a little sister. She was always at my house, following me everywhere……making cookies with me. I was the typical teenager and she was just a little kid. When she requested me as a friend on FB, I didn’t recognize the name, so I ignored the request. But she persisted, finally letting me know, that she was my former neighbor, Betty Day! I was so shocked to hear of her death. My most sincere condolences to you, her family, as I cannot imagine how much you will miss her.
All the best to all of you as you try to get through this most difficult time. Sincerely, Jamie Morello
