Elizabeth Reiney Jones, 59, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on June 8, 2014 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House, from cancer. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a future time. Liz was born in Kansas City. After college, she moved to New York where she and a friend ran a stained glass business. She returned to her hometown in 1981 and started a landscape gardening service. We will remember Liz for her sense of humor, candor, and generosity. She loved gardening and her pets. She was often seen in the neighborhood walking her dog, Frank. Survivors included her partner, Shirley Chin, and her parents, Robert and Penelope Jones of Overland Park. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
