Liz Taylor, 90, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., passed away May 23, 2012. Liz was born in Chicopee Falls, Mass., to Kostandino and Metaxia Rallis. She was a Marine Corps veteran and proudly served for the duration ofWWII. Liz worked for Civil Service and retired at age 70. She is survived by her daughter and son-in- law, Bob and Meta Smith of Raymore; her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sally Taylor of San Diego; and two grandsons, Chris and Brian Smith. Family and friends meant everything to Liz. Live, love and laugh was her style. Her smile will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit. Memorial contributions may be made to Mayo Clinic, KC Hospice House, or the Wounded Warriors Project.
