MUAH!!!!
Deb and family,
Chuck and I, Lynn, met in seminary and didn’t reconnect until I accepted a call to Superior, NE and found that he and Ellen were in Edgar. We two couple so spent hours visiting and playing cards. Of course that included a lot of coffee. We spent hours together at Presbyterian meetings which may explain why our two Ellens found ministry to be their calling as well. Ellen Davis here: We will always remember Ellen’s laugh, her joy in her children and grandchildren and her welcoming nature. I will always remember our conversations about the role of a pastor’s spouse and howw we grieved the lack of understanding we found in younger wives, primarily. God gained an angel.
My heart is heavy with sorrow for you & for me. I always visited Ellen when I returned to Leavenworth. I miss her already. May her family know how blessed they were to have Ellen as she loved them all so much.
Be blessed my friend, Ellen!! I love you.
