Ellen Sue Haggard, 61, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away September 16, 2019 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral Services for Ellen will be private. Ms. Haggard was born September 5, 1958 in Heidelberg, Germany. She graduated from Newburg R-II High School, Newburg, Missouri in 1976 and later obtained an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. She touched the lives of many children as a pre-school and school age teacher and teacher assistant all of her adult life.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Carol (Cartwright) Haggard of Jefferson City; two sisters: Jeannie Altom of Jefferson City and Diane Haggard of Lenexa, Kansas. She is survived by her siblings, Jesse Haggard (and wife Sharon) of Colorado, Teresa Haggard (and husband Ed) of Virginia, and Cindy Theissen of Jefferson City.
