Elsie B. Braton

Elsie Belle Braton, 92, of Kansas City, MO passed away on April, 22, 2024. A visitation for Elsie will be held at 2pm on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown MO 64133. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown.

Elsie was born on August 25, 1931 in Kansas City, MO. She was widowed 4 times, lost 3 Sons and 3 Brothers, but she was a strong woman, bringing up 6 children. Mom did everything from cooking, household chores to mowing the yard and trying to fix broken things on her own. Mom never had much income but she ALWAYS found bargains: Hyper-Mart at 5 AM, Swap-in Shop, and loved Goodwill and Salvation Army. Mom even fixed ours and Grandchildren’s bikes, ( tires, chains, handlebars ) Mom was a great cook, and was always having dinners. She always stepped up to take care of her grandchildren when needed. Mom was full of Love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Tennie King; husband, Leonard R. Braton; widow of Jeff Davis, WM. Edward Clifton, and John E. Martin; sons, John W. Martin, Bud L. Martin, Wm. Edward Clifton, and grandson, Brian Wilson; brothers, Kenneth King, Frank King, and Herschel King Sisters Anna Guillian, Lorene Argraves, and Ellen McAllister.

Survivors include son, Jeff Davis; daughters, Diane Giesler and Loretta Koch; eleven grand children and 26 great-grand children, and seven great great-grand children.
