Elzator L. “Honey” Baker, 55, passed away peacefully at North Care Hospice on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was born December 13, 1958 to Leemon Chiles and Lavada Baker. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Heartland Cremation & Burial, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO; visitation at 10 am, service at 11 am. Elzator is survived by her sister, Cynthia Toombs; brother, Leemon Chiles, Jr.; brother-in-law, Ronald Toombs; one nephew and niece, three great nieces, a great nephew, and a host of loving family. Condolences to the family of Elzator “Honey” Baker. I would like to express my sympathy for your loss. I too have suffered the loss of a dear family member. I found comfort in the scripture found at Revelation 21:3,4 which reads.With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.+ 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,+ and death will be no more,+ neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.+ The former things have passed away.” This scripture assures us that we will be able to see our loved one again by means of a resurrection from the dead.
