Oh my gosh…I am so sorry for your loss. I knew your Dad a long time ago when he lived in Junction City, Kansas…He was such a kind and caring person who loved life and his family!!! It was obvious that once his kids and grandkids came along they were greatest joy!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I met your dad in 1979 and we instantly became friends. When I found out he lived in JC with his Aunt Bea who I’d known since I was a child, our bond was strengthened. He became my brother. He will be greatly missed. He lives in our hearts, our memories and in you- his family. God bless

Eric was a great soul who touched everyone he came in contact with. His spirit will always remain with us and his kindness will always be remembered. Although we will miss his physical presence, his legacy lives on in his children and family. He was my younger cousin and I loved talking to him when I got the chance. Rest in peace Cuz. You are loved and appreciated.

Oh how I wished I could be there with the family during this time of grief. Although I didn’t meet him personally, I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about Eric. I didn’t get a chance to taste his smoked meets, I heard it was good. However, his legacy remains in Ed’s meat smoking skills, he taught him well. May he rest in eternal peace. With love, I’m praying for and with yall. ♡
We are so sorry for your loss. Your dad had a way of filling the room with love and joy. We are praying for your family during this time. “The heart remembers most what it has loved the best.”

Children, family and friends, I was so heartbroken when I heard Eric had passed. He was so funny and joyful. His dad and my mom were siblings. We had so much fun when they all came to Cape to visit. Last reunion was such a highlight seeing him and his family. His physical presence is not there. His spirit lives within each of YOU wherever u go. Live your life BEING CHRIST CENTERED. Continue his legacy of love, peace and joy with that BOOMING LAUGH. GOD comfort you all with His loving peace and strength during this time and forever. Love always

So very sad to hear that another branch from our grandmother Nettie has broken off. My heart goes out to his family and friends for the pain a loss can bring.I still recall the fun times we had playing together when they would visit. My prayers are with you
My dear friend loved working with you and sharing the same passion for our community you will be missed my condolences to the family!
Eric was one of my longest and dearest friends I have ever had. I will miss him dearly. Over the years, we had limited personal contact, but I was fortunate to have visited him and his family in 2017 and 2018 to attend his birthday bash. I met Eric back in Junction city, Ks, before he started a family, and when he did start his family, I was there to watch his kids grow up in their early years. He was part of our family, he attended all our family picnics and get togethers, he was at all our thanksgiving dinners, and we spent most other holidays together. We considered him as a part of our family. Eric was one of the most honest people I ever met and was a true friend. My condolences go out to his family. I will always cherish the times we had together.

this absolutely breaks my heart. I’ve been looking for him and those gorgeous children for so many years. I was two months too late Katie Monica Edward if you read this, I know your dad so many years ago he was funny. He taught my children so many silly things. I am so very sorry for your loss. I love you all.
So sorry to hear E Man has passed. I knew him when…K-State days, running in Aggieville, 1st place softball, Thanksgiving @ Aunt B’s, BBQ, shacking at the apt., laughing and more laughing and he named me Rollo “ Rita Lawson’s little boy” from Sanford & Son, I missed that dude and and decided to look him only to discover Eric had passed. Sorry for your loss and know it’s devastating to lose someone with such a big personality and he showed love and kindness to everyone. Glad I was able to call Eric my friend and so sorry I didn’t reach out sooner.
