Floyd Felten

Floyd Herbert Felten passed away June 16, 2023, at Centerpoint Hospital surrounded by Family.

He was born October 1, 1934, in Clear Creek, Missouri to Anthony and Regina Felten. He married Ruby Jean Mayes in 1955 and together had three girls.

On July 3, 1976, he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses at a convention in Louisville, Kentucky. He derived much comfort from Revelation 21:4 which says, “and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”.

Floyd loved being outside working in the yard and garden. He also enjoyed woodworking. He could fix anything broken and always wanted to help those he could. He will be greatly missed.

Floyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Medley.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruby Jean Felten; son-in-law Murray Medley; daughter Judy Eairheart (Dan); daughter Dana Marcos (Mike); Five grandchildren: Andy Jackson (Susie); Sarah Young (Chad); William Eairheart; Emily Eairheart; Danielle Eairheart; Two great grandchildren: Baxter Young and Wilder Young.

I remember all of us kids running wild around Grandpa and Grandma and all of the aunts and uncles including Floyd. Good memories. I send my love to the family and please find comfort in the good memories, support one another and find comfort in your faith as well.
