Floyd Gale Perkins

Isaiah 40:31 – But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Floyd Gale Perkins, 79, went to his heavenly home June 25, 2021 while surrounded by his family.   He was born July 11, 1941 to Clarence Elvin “Bill” Perkins and Maurine Elizabeth Winn Perkins in Columbia, MO.

He married the love of his life, Mary Mordica on June 5, 1965 and they just celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.

Gale retired from the City of Columbia. He and Mary shared many happy years together with their family.  He loved to hunt, fish, bbq, go to the Lake of the Ozarks and tinker around the house, but he loved spending time with his family the most.

He was preceded him in death by his parents and brothers Donald, Billy and Bruce. He is survived by his wife Mary, his 3 children, Carla (Marvin) McGeorge and their son Cameron, Scott Perkins and Jason (Missy) Perkins and their sons, Brendan and Jaedan, his twin brother Dale and many nieces and nephews. While Gale will be missed here, his family who have gone on before and his Savior have welcomed him into heaven where he will be forever happy and healthy.

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
