Floyd Proberts, 95, Offerle, KS, passed away July 7, 2013 at Edwards County Health Center in Kinsley, KS. Mr. Proberts was born November 30, 1917 in Kinsley, KS. The 13th of 14 children, Floyd grew up and began his work in Kinsley doing so many interesting and diverse jobs. He met and married Laurine Margaret Boehme on March 9, 1941 and together they had 3 children. His work spanned many decades with Southwestern Bell/ AT&T and Pueblo Chemical/ Crop Production Services in Garden City, KS. Floyd was preceded in death by sons Wayne and Micheal. He is survived by Laurine of Offerle and daughter Blenda Kaye Lott of Bloomington, IL. Services are pending. Memorials are asked to Offerle United Methodist Church.
