Fraces Schroer

Frances “Sassie” Schroer, 62, passed away November 7, 2004, from causes yet to be determined. Services will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO, 2 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2004. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 10580 Barkley, Suite 400, Overland Park, KS 66212. She graduated Westport High School in 1960, and married Edward “Bumpy” Schroer later that same year. After the passing of her beloved husband, she learned to live life alone. Enjoying the closeness of her lifelong friend, Joyce, the two traveled to Chicago to celebrate their 50 years of friendship. “Sassie” was blessed with amazing friends from her neighborhood. These friends have been in her life for the last 38 years and she held them closely in her heart. The biggest part of her life was her children and grandchildren. She loved them all more than words can express. She is survived by her daughter and son-inlaw, Cheryl and Tom Deason and her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Suzanne Schroer. The lights of her life were her precious grandchildren, Tanner, Trisha, Lauren & Leah & her beloved dog, Austin
