Hello everyone this is Sandy. There was so much to say about mom I just didn’t know where to start. She was a daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, friend, leader, learner, teacher, and on and on. I will always be happy to share my stories with you all but what I would really like is if you all could share a story or favorite memory about mom here. She touched so many people over her lifetime and I would love to hear from some of those people and what their stories are. Thank-you all so much!

Anytime I visited the home of Mac and Frances McHugh I was alway made to feel like family. Years would pass and I would stop by and it was like no time had passed we would just pick up where we’d left off. I don’t know if my timing was just right but there was always something good cooking in the kitchen and I was always invited to share a meal with them. I always felt right at home. Frances was a very loving mother and grandmother. We shared the love for her grandson Nic and her daughter Sandy is a very dear and longtime friend of mine.
Frances will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Frances loved the Lord. She is not suffering any more and has been welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven with open arms. He memory will shine in our hearts until we meet again.
It was an honor to get to know her along the road of life.
Love you Sandy and Nic. I’m only a phone call away.
    Thanks for letting me share.
    Twyla

My heart is with you all now and always.
Your mom was such a very elegant woman. A person who definitly cared and worried about others. I know I’ve given your mom a run for the money back in the day and every time I saw her her eyebrow would go up and I knew she was thinking “ut ohhh… sandra sue, lori lou and tracy too!? What next” but your mom was always kind. Always!! Both your parents were genuinely good people and I’m so glad you had them. Rest in peace Eager and Searching. Rest in peace.

There are so many memories, my mind is flooded with great times. Aunt Frances was the most loving, caring & giving person I know. They loved family so much that I guarantee they never missed a family event. Every Wedding, Every Funeral or Family Reunion, you knew Elden & Frances would be there. You could count on it, no question. And we all anticipated & were excited for their arrival. So aunt Frances & uncle Elden, I know you are together again in heaven & I am so happy for you. Love you both, your niece Shelly McHugh Tolbert ?
