Frances Marie Hinrichs, 99, of Raytown, MO passed away March 11, 2020.  Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Woods Chapel Church, Lee’s Summit, MO.  Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. preceding the service.  

Mrs. Hinrichs was born December 10, 1920 in Kansas City, MO.  Frances was a lifelong Raytown resident, graduate of Raytown High School, owner of Raytown Office Supply, and the matriarch of a loving family.  She was a pioneer female entrepreneur, balancing family and a business from 1954 until retirement at age 75. Throughout her life, she enjoyed family activities, travel, dancing, card playing, quilting and embroidery in addition to her work.  

Frances modeled acceptance and compassion for all that knew her.  Her family strives to follow her example.  

She was preceded in death by: parents, John Emery and Marie Schowengerdt Snoddy; brother, Lloyd; sister, Martha Jean Weston; and husband Herschel.  

Survivors include: son, Ted (Nina); daughter, Terri (Jim)  Romick; nieces, Janet Weston and Jill (Rudy) Weston Martinez; and brothers-in-law John Weston and Bill Hinrichs.  She was loved by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
