Fred Ellis

Fred B. Ellis, 94, of Independence, was welcomed into Heaven Monday evening, November 9, 2009. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday November 13^th at New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, MO. An avid fisherman with an 80 year spotless driving record. Fred was loved by everyone who knew him and was known as the sharpshooter of Keytesville, MO in his youth. He was a pillar of faith in his community and the solid rock upon which his loved ones leaned on throughout their lives. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, 15 brothers and sisters, wife Augusta, daughter Bernice, son Walter and 2 grand daughters. He is survived by daughters Barbara Fossett of Independence, MO.; Margaret Lugenbeel of the home; Pearline Hufford of Warsaw, MO.: son Fred Ellis of Eldorado Springs, MO; 15 grand children; 29 great grand children; and 5 great great grand children.
