Fred William Klaus, 90, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Fred was born on March 3rd, 1934, in Bendena, Kansas. Fred lived a life rich in service, adventure, and love for family and friends.
Fred was the son of Ralph F. Klaus and Margaret Hoverson Klaus, who preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by wife, Virginia, and brother, Kenneth Klaus.
He proudly served in the United States Navy, exemplifying commitment for his Country. Fred attended Highland Community College, The University of Kansas, and Washburn University.
Fred embarked on a long and fulfilling career with the United States Postal Service, where he was known for his dedication and friendly demeanor. He built many lasting relationships with coworkers and customers alike, always bringing a smile to those around him.
Beyond his professional life, Fred found joy in the thrill of auctions, relishing the challenge of hunting for the best deals.
A beloved member of his community, Fred’s kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of sharing in his life.
A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at Adams Pointe Conference Center, 1400 NE Coronado Dr in Blue Springs, MO, on January 15th, 2025, from 1 to 3 pm.
Fred leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure that will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
