Gary Moore

Gary Moore, 61, died at his home in Shawnee, Ks. on September 18, 2013.  Gary was born on January 14, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clarence Edward and LaDonna Kimble Moore.  He was raised by his grandparents, Edward and Pansy Kimble, along with 4 other brothers and sisters.  Gary lived in the Kansas City area most of his life and was a Chief Engineer who worked in hotel maintenance in several Kansas City hotels.  He was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy, 2 step-children, April Garrett (Dave) and Brian Hall, and 1 grandson, Noah Decker.  He is also survived by 2 sisters, Vicki Smith (Terry) of Wichita, Ks. and Denise Lane (Ross) of Olathe, Ks. and 2 brothers, George Moore (Shelly) of Olathe, Ks.  and Brian Hall (Vickie) of Linn Valley, Ks.  A sister, Donna Peters, preceded him in death.  Gary was a Chief Engineer who worked in hotel maintenance.   He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, in Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Rd. Merriam, Ks., Shelter #1 at 11:00.  Please use the South entrance to the park.
