Gary Barnes, born October 18, 1939, the son of Dale and Mary Barnes, passed away March 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Donna; one son, Rick Barnes of Hammond, IN; three daughters, Gina Hauer and Lisa Raynolds of Kansas City, MO, and Amy Jones of Overland Park, KS; and brother, Bob Barnes of Waldorf, MD. Interment will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Donations may be made to VITAS Hospice, 4041 S. Lynn Ct, Ste. 100, Independence, MO 64055.

This is many years late,so I am sorry for that. I just found his obituary online. I knew Gary at the Post Office. We worked together many years,and he was always such a nice guy. I thought of him many times after he retired,but had no way to get in touch with him. My deepest condolences on his passing. And again,so sorry this is many years late.
