Geneva Helen Kingrey (Schmidt), 75, Raytown, MO, formerly of Marshville, MO passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Research Medical Center in KCMO. Helen is survived by her only son, Michael L. Kingrey and his wife Debbie; her 2 grandchildren, Stephanie & Michael; her 1 great-granddaughter, Hannah. She is also survived by 1 brother and 3 sisters. She came to Kansas City in 1953. She was employed at Westinghouse Electric and at G.S.A., where she retired in the early 1990’s. Helen is preceded in death by both parents, George and Olive Schmidt, as well as 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A memorial gathering will be from 10 am to noon Friday, May 16th at Heartland Cremation, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 920 Main St, Ste. 280, KCMO 64105, c/o Hannah Kingrey.
