Gerald “Jerry” Copeland

Gerald “Jerry” Copeland passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27th, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Jerry served in the United States Marine Corp before having careers in manufacturing, construction/remodeling and maintenance. Jerry was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. He loved grilling and his specialty was smoked tenderloin. He loved music, word play, could always bring laughter to any room and loved spending time with his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Audrey Copeland.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Copeland; daughters, Audra (Rick) Beachner and Andrea (Brady) Degnan; and three grandchildren, Makaela, Lily and Caiden; his brother Dale Copeland; sister Marilyn (Copeland) Barnes, in addition to a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, niece and nephews and many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
