Gerald Harrison Reser Sr., Kansas City, MO, passed away at his home on December 26, 2008. He was born July 29, 1921 in Belpre, Edwards County, KS to Joseph Harrison and Ruby (Rathbun) Reser. He married Donis Stephan on August 11, 1941 in Raton, NM. Gerald was a WWII veteran having servied in the Philippines and New Guinea. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Phyllis Rice. He is survived by his wife Donis, and three childern; Gerald H. (Christine) Reser, Jr., Kansas City, MO, Donna Lee (Jim) Pauly, Overland Park, KS and Cheryl ( Bill) Hatfield, Arlington, TX; 12 grandchildern and 9 great-grandchildern and several nieces and nephews. A military graveside service will be held 11am Tuesday Dec. 30th at Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, KS.
