Glen Reese

Glen Reese, 60, Raytown, Missouri January 16, 2018. Services were held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Mt Washington Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.

Glen was born June 6, 1957 in Independence, Missouri. He worked at General Motors (Leeds Plant). He graduated from UMKC and worked for the Raytown Tribune and Raytown Times as sports editor.

He is preceded in death by; father, Kenneth M. Reese and grandparents. Survivors include; mother, Wanda Reese; sister, Leesa Reese; nephew, Spencer Reese and dog, Dotty.

    Felt sorry for family waiting on a Hearst at gravesite. .that they thought they paid for..not van that brought body to be buried. .then a CHEIFS towel they wanted buried with him was caught up so coffin wasnt closed..and family during funeral couldnt listen to sarmen..then a man from mount Washington cemetery moved his sister aside as a pallburrer at gravesite..he had not right to interfere..then the headstone at grave huge chip..use someone else..two wks later still not seeingobobituary in kc star! DROPPED BALL FOR GLEN REESE!!

    Even heartland posted after funeral even though family gave them the info in plenty of time..but was posted a week after funeral. .no posting in kc star?..Really??..And $$ for Hearst. .really a Van??..cost to put clothes on love one..cost to see love one for a few minutes $245..its a racket

    Get what you are saying he was a great guy..was the van at least General motors..forgot to look.sorry they paid $1940..and didn’t get what they thought.sad about funeral homes when family heart broken taking advantage. .

    Very smart..could answer all questions on jeopardy..Sunday crossword puzzles in 15 mins..yes I timed him a time or too..too bad kindred hospital waited 3 hours to call ambulance otherwise he would still be with us?

    We will miss him..hate he is gone..was always there for his friends. .favorite song dont dream its over…and its not..some day we will see him again..
