Grace was and still is a kind soul. She never ever wanted to hurt anyone. She had so many amazing talents that she took for granted. She had the most contagious laugh. When she laughed everyone smiled, even if they didn’t find whatever it was that funny. She saw the humor in so many things. She loved with all her heart and she was fiercely protective of those she loved. She never saw anyone’s faults. She always saw everyone’s talents and the good side to them. She stuck up for everyone whom she felt was being wronged in some way. She was quick to forgive and she never wanted to disappoint anyone or let anyone down. She will always be remembered as our, “Amazing Grace.”
She was preceded in death by great grandmother Ruby Godd, great grandmother Imogene Potter, grandfather Richard Potter, and grandfather Jim Tighe.
Survivors include mother and father JoAnn and Chad Potter, sister Julie Potter, niece Scarlett Baheyadeen, grandmother Wanda Potter, grandmother Betty Tighe, aunt Holli Potter Atwood, aunt and uncles; Lori and Lee Dillenbeck, Linda and Art Tighe, and Mary and Perfecto Solis, cousins; Tyse and Tyler Atwood, Colleen, Paul, Lucas, and Ellie Fontenot, Mary, Ryan, and Allie Green, David, Daniel, Katie, Paige, Naomie, Amy, Odanette, Krissie, Samson, and Susie Tighe, and Sarah and Hannah Solis.

Please know that the anguish you feel is but the shadow of the love that you shared with your cherished daughter. We all feel the ache of your loss and offer whatever comfort the empathy of other broken hearts can offer.
My deepest condolences to the Potter family for losing a dear one. Grace was mature in years and taught us so much about life. May the family cherish her loving memory fondly, and reflect on the beautiful words of Isaiah 65: 20-25 which give a glimpse of things to come.
