Gregory Scott Lindsey

Gregory Scott Lindsey, 65, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 12:30pm, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. No visitation will be held. 

Gregory Scott Lindsey was born April 3, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA to Leroy Lindsey and Sharlene Bradley. Scott loved to sing and play guitar. He loved his kids and grandkids dearly. Scott ran his own pallet business with his best friend Tim for many years. Scott was a dedicated Christian with a great love for the Lord. He never went anywhere without KLOVE on his radio. 
Scott was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Mary and Joseph Carl Bradley; mother, Sharlene Bradley; father, Leroy Lindsey; one nephew, Joey Williamson; daughter, Heather Renee Lindsey.

Scott is survived by: brother, Joseph Williamson; wife, Elizabeth Murray of Savanna Il; ex-wife, Traci Clapp of Butler, MO; three sons, Joshua Lindsey of Oak Grove, MO, Jeremy Lindsey and girlfriend Wendy of Liberty, MO, and William “BJ” Lindsey and girlfriend Jessica of Butler, MO; two daughters, Alicia Franklin and husband Gary of Moberly, MO and Eva Schmide of Southport, NC; best friend, Timothy Curtis of Kansas City, MO; and fifteen grandchildren: Sara, Lea, Elizabeth, Morgan, Anthony, Zackery, Destiny, Annabella, Alyssa, William, Laikynn, Clark, Harley, Colton and Drayven; as well as may close friends.
