Harold Coureton

Harold Coureton, 87, of Hallsville, Missouri died Thursday morning, October 31st at home with family at his bedside. Harold was born on June 7, 1937, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Arthur and Minnie (Stephens) Coureton. Harold dedicated his life to his faith in God, his
family, his work, and his love for being outdoors. Harold served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked for
Chance Co. and retired from Square D. While serving his country he met his loving wife, Patricia (Bates) and celebrated 64 glorious years of marriage together. She survives him.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers David, James and Tommie. Survivors also include daughter Lisa Fredrick (Tom) of Kansas City, Missouri; son Lewis (Janet) of Inman, South Carolina; two grandchildren Cyle and Scott, both live in Missouri; two brothers Kenneth and Joe of Columbia, Missouri and sister Melba June Barns of California, Missouri.

The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

At Harold’s request there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be held on Harold’s birthday June 7, 2025. Details will be posted closer to the date.
